Wild Life

Using Augmented Reality (AR) models of farm and wild animals (including some imaginary ones), this series of images places digital wild life in the suburbs of Bangalore. The images are made largely on abandoned plots in suburban Bangalore which are now overgrown with plants and trees and simultaneously used as unofficial dumping grounds. Following the photographic tropes often used in wildlife photography, these AR photographs create an alternative vision of wilderness and question the augmented nature of nature and animality.
